💬 Assumptions

  1. Sensateers are highly talented, motivated individuals that are best placed to know what they need to work most effectively and efficiently.
  2. When making decisions, Sensateers prioritise the team and mission.
  3. Remote working - Working from any location including, if chosen, the Sensat office.
  4. Flexible working - Having flexibility in carrying out your duties, specifically relating to working time/hours.
  5. The COVID-19 crisis has accelerated expectations of greater flexibility and remote working options and the ability to decide where one works from on any given day is increasingly a table stake.
  6. In-person interactions are the most effective way to build strong relationships, whether personal or professional, and effective communication in high-performance and creative environments.
  7. Once relationships are established, they can be maintained through periodic in-person interactions.
  8. Remote working can be as (if not more) productive than office-based working.
  9. The ability to hire talented individuals, irrespective of their geographical location, creates opportunities for Sensat to grow our team(s) with highly-skilled, diverse and previously inaccessible talent.
  10. Sensat will always retain a physical HQ, this space will be used to help facilitate events, client engagements, all hands and other in-person events where physical space is necessary. Whilst there will be working space, it is unlikely that the Sensat offices of the future will be able to house the entirety of the company working onsite at the same time.

Sensateers are free to choose where they work from.

Some Sensateers will choose to spend a significant portion of their time in the office, some a mixture of home and office and some will predominantly work remotely. As long as you meet your objectives and it's agreed with your Line Manager, you should feel empowered to make the right decisions for you, your team and Sensat.
